Shenzhen Jiangangshan Hill Park's Wayfinding Signage System

Updesign has unveiled a distinctive wayfinding signage system for Shenzhen Jiangangshan Hill Park, integrating art and functionality to enhance the visitor experience. The system, inspired by Henri Rousseau's impressionist style, features low-contrast colored silhouette art to seamlessly blend with the natural environment, providing gentle wayfinding cues for park visitors.

The wayfinding signs, designed as impressionist-illustration silhouettes, create a visually peaceful ambience as they are gently immersed into the wooded hilly surroundings. The design aims to preserve the existing ecological experience for visitors, harmonizing human interaction with nature.

The signage system is crafted using handmade processing technology, with high-quality stainless steel materials to achieve artistically pierced and integrally bent appearance. The boards are strategically positioned with rounded edges, allowing visitors, including children, to interact with them freely.

Updesign's innovative approach to wayfinding signage has earned the project the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence.
