Golden Jade Headquarters: Embracing Nature in Modern Office Design

The Golden Jade Headquarters, designed by Heng G Design, is a testament to the harmonious integration of nature and modern office functionality. Situated in the bustling city of Taichung, Taiwan, the office is surrounded by lush greenery, providing a serene backdrop for the workspace. The design draws inspiration from the natural elements, incorporating sunshine, greenery, and streams into the office environment.

The office space is characterized by its emphasis on sharing and openness. Movable soundproof partition walls on the first floor offer privacy while preserving an open and collaborative atmosphere. The design allows for flexible configurations, enabling the space to accommodate small, medium, and large-sized conferences, as well as serving as a venue for social gatherings.

Realization of the design involved innovative technologies and materials. White terrazzo flooring serves as a canvas for the office's activities, while black mirrors create a sense of expansiveness and depth. The staircase, designed as floating islands, adds a unique visual element to the space, guiding movement throughout the office.

The Golden Jade Headquarters spans 441.34 square meters, encompassing various functional areas including meeting rooms, offices, storage rooms, and recreational spaces. The design prioritizes the needs of employees, fostering connectivity between departments and creating an open, inclusive work environment.

Heng G Design, founded in 2021, is a leading architectural and interior design practice based in Taichung, Taiwan. The firm specializes in residential, commercial, and hospitality interior designs, offering comprehensive services from design concepts to construction drawings. The design team, including Po-Hung Hsin, Joyce Yang, and Yu-Rong Lai, overcame the challenge of a tight timeline to bring the Golden Jade Headquarters to fruition, earning the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2023 for their exceptional work.
