HKTDC's Fashion Launderette Takes Center Stage at Hong Kong Fashion Week

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has unveiled "Fashion Launderette" at the 2019 Hong Kong Fashion Week, a transformative installation space that captivated visitors with a fun and creative approach. The concept was inspired by 1980s laundromat interiors and aimed to complement the various fashion genres exhibited at the fair, echoing the latest color trends for the upcoming season.

The installation comprised a 30m2 welcome area, a 135m2 hall entry treatment, and a 350m2 multifunctional space inside the exhibition hall. Each area featured reusable aluminum systems, digital printed plywood, vinyl graphics, and other innovative materials to create a thematic and engaging experience for visitors.

The Fashion Launderette not only served as an image uplift for the event but also provided a platform to showcase the latest seasonal trend colors, offering a holistic and immersive setting for fashion shows, seminars, cocktail receptions, and other gathering activities.
