Polo Cafe Bar: A Unique Blend of Polo Sports Elements and Coffee Culture

CHENG HUI HSIN introduces Polo Cafe Bar, a captivating fusion of the dynamic lines of polo swings and the ambiance of coffee lifestyle, located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Inspired by the essence of polo sports, the space is adorned with neat metal lines, inviting patrons to experience the elegance and power of polo within a coffee shop setting. The cafe aims to create a space for patrons to share coffee, interests, and ideas, fostering a community of communication and interaction.

The interior space features golden lines arranged in a radial manner, forming a large-scale world map on the ceiling. The design symbolizes the cafe's vision of the world, offering a unique and immersive experience for visitors. The space is thoughtfully divided into a sofa dining area and a flexible dining area, providing both privacy and openness for patrons to enjoy their coffee and conversations.

Started in March 2018 and completed in April 2018, Polo Cafe Bar embodies the designer's vision of integrating the elegance of polo with the comforting nature of coffee, creating a space that encourages in-depth dialogues and meaningful connections among visitors. The sustainable design concept, eco-friendly materials, and detachable, movable design elements reflect the designer's commitment to environmental responsibility and resource reuse.
