Renowned designer Ben Wu's Lakeville Luxe is a modern oriental residential design that seamlessly blends traditional oriental aesthetics with contemporary living. Completed in May 2018 at the Shanghai City Center-Xintiandi, this 578 square meter space offers a unique living experience inspired by the concept of an oriental garden.

The design draws inspiration from oriental artistic conceptions, creating a time-dimensional living experience that reflects a distant cultural context. The foyer promenade, adorned with an 8-meter acrylic wall embedded in a light belt, sets the tone for the space, offering a sense of extension and imagination. The use of grayscale colors adds a touch of fantasy, transforming the entrance into an expected and captivating space.

One of the unique features of Lakeville Luxe is the outdoor encircling-furnace, seamlessly extending the indoor atmosphere and enhancing the overall living experience. The design aims to create a microcosm that allows for free soothing of all the senses in a quiet and serene environment.

Ben Wu's design philosophy of Modern Oriental is reflected in Lakeville Luxe, showcasing his integration of Western humanization with the essence of Oriental humanism. With over 20 years of experience in interior and home design, Ben Wu has established himself as a leader in Chinese design, advocating for the creation of artistic conception spaces that embody oriental aesthetics and philosophical thinking.
