Tianxi No.1: A Fusion of Modern Oriental Elegance in Shenzhen's Bustling Downtown

Located in the bustling downtown area of Shenzhen, Tianxi No.1 is a 1900 square meter sales center designed by Ben Wu, conveying an elegant and secluded life of oriental humanities in the impetuous downtown. The entrance features a wide waterscape, creating a serene atmosphere amidst the city's hustle and bustle. The project was completed in May 2019 and has recently been honored with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2021.

Utilizing the "partition" technique, the space rhythm is defined with a virtual metal mesh, evoking a desire to explore the space. The interior architecture maximizes spatial height, incorporating a triangular skylight structure that introduces natural light and shadow effects, fostering a connection between man and nature. Dr. Ren Tianjin's calligraphy works are reimagined as contemporary art installations, adding a touch of poetic art to the space.

Ben Wu, with over 20 years of experience in interior design, established WS in 1998, integrating the essence of Oriental humanism with Western humanization. His design philosophy of Modern Oriental has significantly impacted the world of design, making him a leading figure in Chinese design. Wu's profound foundation in traditional art and philosophy is reflected in his creations, from public spaces to private clubs, and from celebrity mansions to heritage structures.
