Yuan Tai Qian Sales Center: Blending Eastern Philosophy and Modern Aesthetics

Emerald Design proudly presents the Yuan Tai Qian Sales Center, a project designed by Mu-Chin Chiang, drawing inspiration from the fifteenth hexagram in the ancient Chinese philosophy classic, <I Ching>. The design concept is rooted in the virtue of modesty, with the interior and exterior in harmonious unison, reflecting the builder's corporate vision and the surrounding greenery views and literati vibes.

The project, completed in November 2020, is located in Taoyuan city, Taiwan, and covers a construction area of 500 square meters. The design imbues an orient literati ambiance, deeply rooted with philosophical undertones, using minimal forms such as lines and circles to convey the core value of the property.

Pairing orderly linear arrangements with overlapping circles, the sales center symbolizes well-roundedness and artistic identity, sustaining a profound quality. The project complies with real estate sales concerns, ensuring both artistic identity and pragmatic layout are fulfilled in execution.

Challenges such as the temporary nature of the building were overcome by avoiding excessive material combinations, opting for modest colors and wood veneer carpentry to lessen future demolish difficulties. The design was awarded Bronze in A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that blends Eastern philosophy with modern aesthetics.
