Introducing "Lamp" by Andrea Cingoli

Renowned architect and designer Andrea Cingoli introduces "Lamp," a groundbreaking chandelier design that redefines the concept of lighting. Inspired by user experience and utilizing the principle of the pantograph, this innovative chandelier offers unprecedented flexibility and functionality, allowing users to create custom lighting choreographies and transform their environments. The design was completed in 2018 in Teramo, Italy.

The "Lamp" chandelier boasts unique properties that set it apart from traditional lighting fixtures. It can illuminate a defined area or concentrate its light for greater luminosity, achieved through an electric sliding system on a track. This revolutionary mechanism, connected to a dedicated app, enables the chandelier to interact with music and sounds, making it ideal for entertainment venues. The modular construction allows for variable dimensions, ensuring cost-efficient production and suitability for diverse environments, including homes, offices, and entertainment venues.

With five rows of lights, the "Lamp" chandelier offers a variable width ranging from 160cm to 200cm and a variable length from 185cm to 640cm. Its standard thickness is 20cm, and it is available in various finishes, including steel, gold, pink gold, and bronze. The chandelier's interaction is managed through a dedicated app, allowing users to control the color, length, and choreography of the lights, creating a personalized and dynamic lighting experience.

Andrea Cingoli, a distinguished figure in the world of architecture and design, has received numerous accolades for his innovative creations. Notably, the "Lamp" chandelier was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category in 2019. This prestigious award recognizes the design's exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and contribution to enhancing quality of life through innovative art, science, and technology.
