Dongli Restaurant Design Project

Located in a high-end commercial complex in Chongqing, Dongli restaurant seamlessly integrates the local Tongliang culture and historical context with a dominant modernist atmosphere. The project covers a total of 1270 square meters and features a unique blend of Black Galaxy marble, green marble, white artificial stone, wood floor, silver mirror, corrugated stainless steel, copper plated stainless steel, PU foam stone skin, and customized wall cloth.

The restaurant's design is a testament to the designer's ability to transform geometric modeling architectural sense and minimalist aesthetics into indoor and outdoor artistic scenes, resonating with the vision, touch, and spirit of visitors. The space is a modern interpretation of the humanistic landscape pattern of the Bayu region, evoking the elegance of mountains and rivers.

One of the standout features of Dongli restaurant is the private rooms on the second floor, which exude low-key luxury and elegance. The smooth lines, modern art track, and elegant color matching create an ambiance that reflects the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The project, which started in September 2019 and finished in October 2019, overcame various creative and technical challenges to create a seamless interaction between the first and second floors. The sculptural spiral staircase and the two-story corridor contribute to the harmonious flow of the space, providing visitors with a surreal balance in the cold.

With the intervention of mirror stainless steel and corrugated art lighting, the space achieves a dramatic visual effect and flexibility, while the water bar adopts the Hollow Pavilion structure to create a harmonious blend of traditional and modern elements.

Recognized for its outstanding expertise and innovation, Dongli restaurant was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, a testament to its remarkable level of excellence and positive impact on visitors.
