Novacolor Paint Showroom Design by Peihe Xie

AD ARCHITECTURE is proud to present the Novacolor Paint Showroom, a groundbreaking project designed by Peihe Xie. The showroom, completed in July 2020, is located in Shantou, Guangdong Province, China, and represents a remarkable transformation of a neglected mall corner. The design strategy focuses on attracting more customers through an eye-catching exhibition and a wonderful experience, showcasing 200 paints' textures and colors harmoniously in a 180-square-meter space.

The Novacolor Paint Showroom stands out with its unique properties, featuring a specifically downsized transitional space opening, a small blue ellipsoid that generates a strong sense of power, and a flexible space divided by a sphere. The meticulous geometric order creates a perceptual area of contradiction and coordination, offering visitors a truly immersive experience.

Utilizing natural concave-convex metallic texture and blue sheepskin texture, the design creates a striking contrast. Over 200 material templates are employed in a low-key way to demonstrate their conciseness in the space, presenting an artistic paint showroom through contradiction.
