Yung-Hsi Peng, Pei-Chi Hung, Parn Shyr's Fu Hua Cheng An project in New Taipei City, Taiwan, is a captivating blend of culture and nature, embodying the essence of Posh Oriental Zen. The design draws inspiration from the spirit of the oriental tea ceremony, creating a serene ambiance that harmonizes culture and nature.
The main marble wall on the reception counter is adorned with lotus leaves, symbolizing good fortune and peace. The lounge sofa area, inspired by the calligraphic character of Roam, forms a relaxing space. Natural materials and sculpting techniques were infused to create an oriental Zen style ambiance, with the main wall made from beige travertine and marble, exuding a peaceful and harmonious perception.
The project, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, features a laser-engraved motif on the entrance door, creating a continuous visual perceptional experience. The design overcame challenges posed by the surrounding environment, utilizing precise configuration and color schemes to enrich the visual experiences.
