Digital Art Illustration Project "Human and Sea" by Huo Kai

Huo Kai's "Human and Sea" is a thought-provoking digital art illustration project that delves into the intricate connection between humanity and the ocean. The project, completed in Shenyang, China, from March 2019 to September 2019, portrays the harmonious coexistence and the destructive impact of human activities on the ocean ecosystem.

The series of illustrations, realized through computer drawing technology and "Sai" software, vividly depict the interplay between humans and marine life, juxtaposed with the detrimental effects of pollution and destruction caused by human actions. The surreal art form serves as a powerful medium to convey the message of the shared destiny between humans and the ocean.

Recognized for its creative ingenuity, "Human and Sea" was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in the A' Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category in 2020. This accolade acknowledges the project's exceptional ability to merge art, science, and technology to advocate for the sustainable coexistence of humanity and the ocean.
