Huo Kai celebrates the 20th anniversary of the College of Arts with a vibrant and symbolic logo design
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Huo Kai unveils a striking logo design to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the College of Arts at Northeast University. The design draws inspiration from the blooming of flowers watered by black water, the rotating windmill of the Academy of Arts, and the continuous development of its four majors. The vibrant ribbon symbolizes a beautiful tomorrow, celebrating the significant milestone of the college's founding.
The logo, designed to integrate the leapfrog concept of the Academy, will be used to mark the 20th anniversary celebrations and will be featured in events with alumni both at home and abroad.
Realized using four-color printing, bronzing, and indentation technologies, the logo will be prominently displayed on printed materials and cultural products, spreading the festive spirit of the anniversary.
Measuring 800mm (H) x 800mm (W) at 300dpi in CMYK, the logo will also be featured in packing and notebook designs, ensuring its widespread presence in the anniversary celebrations.
Incorporating elements of art, celebration, and cultural creativity, the logo aims to engage with the audience through print and souvenirs, creating a palpable festive atmosphere.
The project, which took place in Shenyang, China, from January to February 2021, sought to unite alumni in celebrating their alma mater's important milestone. The logo serves as a visual representation of the college's history and culture, conveying the achievements of the Academy's development.
Huo Kai's design was recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category in 2023, acknowledging its outstanding creativity and contribution to visual arts.
