During the design process, Xu Le and the design team faced various challenges, particularly in realizing the flowing curves that define the chair's unique aesthetic. The "Smile - Chair" has garnered recognition, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021. This prestigious accolade celebrates the chair's exceptional design, which seamlessly integrates art, science, and technology to enhance the quality of life.

From its conceptualization in Hangzhou in April 2019 to its completion in August 2020, the "Smile - Chair" embodies Xu Le's vision of creating a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing seating solution that resonates with users on a deeper level.
