Yueshan Lake Villa by Zao Li

Yueshan Lake Villa, designed by Zao Li, is a stunning example of contemporary architecture that seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings. Situated in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, this single-family residence is a testament to sustainable housing and natural symbiosis. The villa's design maximizes lighting, ventilation, and air circulation, creating a harmonious living space that offers panoramic views of the lake and surrounding landscape.

The villa, covering an indoor area of 1200 square meters and a landscape area of 1600 square meters, is a result of a meticulous three-year-long renovation and expansion project, completed in November 2019. The design team, led by main designer Yinling Qian, focused on optimizing and reorganizing the architecture, landscape, and interior to create a warm and inviting living space that floats lightly among the trees.

Featuring floor-to-ceiling glass walls facing the lake, the building offers unobstructed views and a seamless connection to nature. The interior spaces are carefully designed to balance scale, proportion, and artistic conception, creating a unique atmosphere that harmonizes with the natural surroundings. The villa's sustainable design and natural integration make it a standout example of modern architecture.
