Zhubo Design Unveils the Shenzhen Art Museum and Library North Branch

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Shenzhen Art Museum and Library North Branch: A Cultural Landmark

Zhubo Design proudly presents the Shenzhen Art Museum and Library North Branch, a new cultural landmark in the heart of Shenzhen. The project, completed in 2023, serves as a public platform and hub for cultural exchange, fostering creativity and cultural vitality in the region. The design, inspired by the need for a serene and solemn space in a bustling transportation hub, features a unique double-layer curtain wall system and a prefabricated construction approach to achieve sustainability and energy efficiency.

The project boasts a total land area of 39804.03 square meters and a total construction area of 141524.59 square meters, with a volume rate of 2.36 and a building height of 40.15 meters across 6 floors. Notable features include an oversized cantilevered roof and a three-dimensional library, setting it apart as a cultural and architectural marvel.

Zhubo Design's commitment to creating functional cultural spaces is evident in the Shenzhen Art Museum and Library North Branch, which has become a public living room where visitors can enjoy local and international exhibitions, fostering aesthetic education and cultural exchange. The project's successful realization overcame challenges such as the construction of the large cantilevered roof and the innovative underground three-dimensional book stacks in the library, marking a significant achievement in architectural and cultural innovation.
