Zhubo Design Unveils Innovative Shenzhen Book Mall Bay Area Branch

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Integrating Architecture, Landscape, and Culture

Zhubo Design proudly presents the Shenzhen Book Mall Bay Area Branch, a groundbreaking architectural project that blurs the boundaries between the building and the city. Situated in Shenzhen's Central Park, this new generation book city redefines the relationship between culture, life, and nature.

The project, which commenced in 2018 and concluded in 2025, covers a total land area of 65902.45 square meters and a construction area of 131147.8 square meters. The building, with a volume rate of 1.15, stands at 12 meters high and comprises two underground floors and two aboveground floors.

The design's unique feature lies in its integration of architecture and landscape, with a focus on passive green building techniques. The building is half-buried under a gently lifting green space, creating a park that slopes towards the central axis and offers an immersive cultural experience in Qushuiliushang.

Wang Ruiqi, Wang Zijia, Zhang Tao, Huang Jiongming, Zhang Zhilin, Feng Guochuan, Guan Tong, Chen Gongchao, Liu Yixin, Zhang Chunliang, Deng Hua, Xiao Yebao, Yang Sihui, and Ye Jingliu are among the talented team members who contributed to this remarkable project.

The Shenzhen Book Mall Bay Area Branch has been recognized with the prestigious A' Design Award, receiving the Golden A' Design Award in 2024. This accolade celebrates the project's outstanding design and its significant impact on the world of architecture and technology.
