Aprex Family Typeface by Paul Robb

Aprex Family Typeface, designed by Paul Robb, is a contemporary blend of mid-century humanist and grotesques typefaces, offering a solid and straightforward structure characterized by angular connections between curves and stems. The font family includes Aprex Sans, drawing inspiration from minimalist qualities associated with contemporary sans with flair, and Aprex Mono, a Monospaced stylized industrial version with multilingual support. This versatile typeface boasts great legibility, good contrast between positive and negative space, and more than 700 glyphs in each weight.

The font was hand-drawn and developed within Glyphs, and is available in TTF, OTF, and WOFF formats. Aprex Family Typeface is the result of extensive research based on the International style of the late 20th century, and it has been awarded the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2023 for its outstanding and trendsetting design.

Paul Robb, a Creative Director and Type designer with over 30 years of experience, is the mastermind behind Aprex Family Typeface. He is known for his expressive and authentic work, and in 2020, he founded S6 Foundry, an independent contemporary digital type foundry crafting retail typefaces for use in digital and print applications. Based in Italy, Paul Robb is a Professor of Graphic design at the University of Perugia and a Professor on the MA Brand design course of the Academia of Perugia.
