Fetch: Redefining Second-Hand Product Management

Jung Joo Sohn introduces Fetch, a groundbreaking mobile application that redefines the second-hand product marketplace. The app offers a holistic solution for buying, selling, and managing warranties of pre-owned products, addressing issues in existing marketplaces such as product acquisition, price negotiations, and safety concerns. Utilizing AI-generated imagery and a user-friendly warranty system, Fetch enhances user confidence and convenience in second-hand shopping while promoting sustainable choices.

The project, initiated in October 2019 in West Lafayette, Indiana, was completed in the first phase of development in November 2023. The design software used includes Adobe XD, Adobe After Effects, and other prototype developing tools. Fetch is designed for iOS with potential expansion to desktop applications and web browsers in the future.

Fetch is the recipient of the Silver A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications, and Software Design in 2024, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence in revolutionizing the second-hand marketplace.
