Qun Wen's Sino-Italian Cultural and Artistic Exchange Center

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Architect Larry Wen Reveals the Unique Sino-Italian Cultural and Artistic Exchange Center

Architect Larry Wen, the founder of aoe, has unveiled the Sino-Italian Cultural and Artistic Exchange Center, a landmark project located 36 kilometers from Chengdu. The project, covering 17,813.3 square meters, aims to build a platform for cultural exchange and civilization interchange between China and Italy. The design concept draws inspiration from the "Ruyi" in China and Italy's representative piazza, creating a harmonious blend of East and West.

The project's unique properties include a construction area of 2,106.7 square meters, with the exhibition hall offering a dynamic view of the Yanqi Wetland. The use of pure white walls and extensive glass surfaces integrates the pavilion into the natural environment, creating a dynamic mural of the four seasons.

With a site area of 17,814.6 sqm and a gross floor area of 1695.8 sqm, the project boasts a landscaping ratio of 66% and a building height of 13.55 m. The pavilions are designed with top lighting to evenly diffuse light in indoor and outdoor spaces, promoting harmony between architecture and nature.

As an influential design force in China, aoe's founder, Larry Wen, brings together Eastern and Western design philosophy, celebrating the differences and union between the two cultures. The Sino-Italian Cultural and Artistic Exchange Center has been awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that contributes to quality of life improvements.
