ShuiFa-White Marble in the Wilderness: Redefining Property Exhibition

Renowned designer Qun Wen introduces ShuiFa-White Marble in the Wilderness, a distinctive property exhibition center located in Shuifa Info Town, Changqing District, Jinan, China. Inspired by Wang Wei's verse from Mountain Dwelling in Autumn, the design aims to create a serene and enclosed space amidst the chaotic surroundings. The center features residential sales expos, property expos, and offices, offering a unique viewing experience to visitors.

Utilizing perforated plating, the building's facade is designed to adapt to the different functions of its interior. The gradual changes in the perforated plates allow the permeability of the building facade to gradually change from top to bottom, providing a sense of depth and environmental friendliness. With a gross built area of 5200 sq m, the center stands as a testament to innovative architectural design and cultural motifs.

ShuiFa-White Marble in the Wilderness was built from June 2019 to September 2020 and was awarded the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its exceptional and highly innovative design that contributes to societal wellbeing. The project overcame challenges posed by the surrounding environment, transforming it into a captivating and enclosed space, offering a one-of-a-kind experience to its visitors.
