Genki Forest introduces a new packaging design for its Soda Sparkling Water, drawing inspiration from ancient Chinese calligraphy and modern minimalism, creating a unique and culturally rich product.

Genki Forest's latest packaging design for its Soda Sparkling Water draws inspiration from the simplicity of Apple's product design and the minimalist approach of Dieter Rams. The predominantly white packaging reflects a modern design aesthetic, while the prominent black Chinese calligraphy word "pneuma" adds an oriental touch, creating a visually striking and culturally rich product.
The Chinese word "pneuma" holds three distinct meanings, representing the product's attributes, brand identity, and the lively, energetic, and healthy nature of the beverage. This unique fusion of cultural elements sets the product apart, resonating with both the brand's identity and the health-conscious consumer.
Utilizing PET packaging, the design ensures the product's integrity while also prioritizing environmental sustainability. The use of PET plastic offers lightweight, high transparency, and impact resistance, contributing to the prevention of carbon dioxide escape and reducing environmental pollution and energy consumption.
Measuring at a width of 67.3mm and a height of 209.25mm, the design's specifications emphasize both functionality and visual appeal, offering a sleek and ergonomic form that enhances the consumer's interactive experience.
The design team, led by Siyang Cai and Chu Xu, focused on creating a bottle that not only embodies a smooth and ergonomic feel but also incorporates functional elements such as a concave triangular pattern on the shoulder for improved grip and directional cues on the bottle cap for enhanced usability.
