"Honey" Packaging Design

Wallrus Design Studio has unveiled a groundbreaking packaging design named "Honey," redefining the concept of honey packaging. The design draws inspiration from the natural habitats of bees and aims to convey the utmost purity and naturalness of the product to consumers. The packaging is not only visually appealing but also functional, allowing consumers to repurpose it as a container for various items after consuming the honey.

The "Honey" packaging is a fusion of glass and wood, meticulously crafted to evoke the feeling of naturalness and purity associated with honey. The hexagonal form of a beehive serves as the foundation for the packaging, further reinforcing the connection to the natural origins of the product.

Iman Alemozaffar, the main idea behind the project, along with Creative Director Matin Mirzaei and Strategy Manager Kianoosh Atashi, led the team in creating this innovative packaging design. The project, which commenced in January 2002 and concluded in April 2003 in Iran, presented various challenges, including sourcing suitable materials and developing unique production techniques tailored to the design's requirements.

Wallrus Design Studio, based in Tehran, Iran, is known for its commitment to delivering creative and effective packaging and graphic design solutions. The studio's dedication to understanding the core of each project and finding innovative solutions has earned them prestigious accolades, including the Golden A' Design Award for the "Honey" packaging design in 2023.
