Rebrandt introduces the animated Koopmans logo, a strategic marketing instrument reflecting the dynamic working attitude of the organization, awarded Silver in A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award 2023.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Rebrandt proudly presents the animated Koopmans logo, a strategic marketing instrument reflecting the dynamic working attitude of the organization. The movement contrasts with the supposed stillness of a print company, emphasizing the breadth of the range more clearly.
Koopmans asked Rebrandt to communicate the wide range of products they offer, and the animated logo achieves this by being used everywhere - online, in videos, and all kinds of presentations.
The design team, led by Ruud Winder, created a timeless typographic logo system that moves as an abacus, sliding from one option to the other. The animation was expertly crafted by Peter Puntman and implemented online by Kaz van Wel.
From concept to realization, the project took approximately 3 months, with the design team overcoming challenges to achieve a solid balance in typography. The result is an aesthetically appealing design language that also serves as a strategic marketing instrument.
In 1995, Ruud Winder graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and founded design agency GRAS. In 2015, Winder developed the unique Rebrandt® Program, which eventually grew into Rebrandt®, focusing on building and renovating brands with his team.
