Stamp Illustration Dedicated to Rare Animals Endemic to Yunnan, China

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Design for Biodiversity Conservation Summit

Renowned designer WEIWEI ZHANG unveils "Animal Deadee," a set of stamps dedicated to rare animals endemic to Yunnan, China. Inspired by Chinese poetry, the design aims to evoke love for endangered animals and nature, spreading the concept of environmental protection. This initiative aligns with the 2021 International Biodiversity Conservation Summit held in Yunnan, China, calling for global care for the earth's home.

The stamp illustrations, realized through electronic color separation and offset printing, feature animals endemic to Yunnan, reminiscent of the 15th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in Yunnan, China. With dimensions of 40mm x 30mm, these stamps serve as a significant souvenir of the summit.

Zhang Weiwei, the dean of Product Design at Changshu Institute of Technology, has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022 for this remarkable creation, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in graphics, illustration, and visual communication design.
