Pan Yong Unveils "Muse" - A Smartwatch Face Redefining Timekeeping

Pan Yong, a Singaporean artist, has unveiled "Muse" - a smartwatch face that challenges traditional timekeeping aesthetics. The inspiration for this unique design came from a casual sketch drawn on an iPad in a bar, which evolved into a totem-like graphic representing time in a nature-inspired, gemstone-themed manner.

The Muse smartwatch face stands out by conveying a sense of nature and luxury, reminiscent of ancient gemstones. The design, realized using Procreate, Photoshop, and Facer, features a totemic background to tell the hour and a glare-like stroke for the minutes, while also displaying essential information such as date, step count, and battery level.

This unconventional smartwatch face, with dimensions of 400 x 400px on Android watch and 360 x 360px on Samsung watch, supports both round and square smartwatches, offering a unique and exotic user experience.
