Artalex English And Numbers IV: Smartwatch Watch Face

Pan Yong's Artalex English And Numbers IV is a smartwatch watch face design that stands out with its easy-to-read English and numbers combination, allowing users to read the time in a natural way. The layout of the dial is unique, providing information on battery, date, and daily steps at a glance. The design was developed with the aim of offering a cool and unique feeling, catering to users who seek a distinctive watch face for their smartwatches.

The design is available in two versions: a native Samsung Gear version for Samsung Gear watch users, developed with GalaxyWatchDesigner, and a WatchMaker version for WatchMaker app users. It supports Samsung Gear watches (Gear S2, S3, Sports, Galaxy Watch) and all Android smartwatches (WatchMaker app needed on the watch to load up the watch face).

Artalex English And Numbers IV was conceptualized and developed by Pan Yong in Singapore, with the project commencing in May 2017 and concluding in July 2018. The design has received acclaim, winning the Iron A' Design Award in 2019 for its innovative and practical approach to smartwatch face design.
