Ocean Blue Alcoholic Beverage Packaging Design by Wen Liu

Wen Liu's Ocean Blue design has been awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category for 2023. The design, inspired by the elements of the sea and beach, features a bottle painted with golden sparks and sea blue colors, symbolizing youth, vigor, optimism, and ambition. The bottle's exquisite design, incorporating the golden ratio and industry-first copper plate lithography, provides customers with a brand-new experience.

The Ocean Blue design stands out with its unique properties, including a bottle shape that resembles the vast ocean and follows the principles of rational aesthetics. The use of the Fibonacci spiral and other techniques such as cat-eye making and embossing enhance the bottle's texture and overall appeal. The design also focuses on anti-counterfeiting measures, with a utility model patent for a composite buckle to combat knock-offs in the market.

Wen Liu's design team, including Creative Directors Liandong Zhang, Huashuang Liu, Zhaoxin Zhu, and Designers Jingzhang Xiao, Ru Li, and Aizong Lin, worked on the project from August 2021 to May 2022 in Nanjing, Jiangsu. The design underwent in-depth market research and upgrades to enhance its overall quality and grade, addressing deficiencies in the previous packaging while maintaining memorable elements.
