Antonia Skaraki unveils Kellipops, a vibrant and playful packaging design inspired by the joy of life and the excitement of taste.

Antonia Skaraki's Kellipops packaging design is a celebration of the joy of life and the pleasure of taste. Inspired by the Greek word 'keliphos,' meaning 'shell,' and the fun and excitement associated with the word 'pop,' Kellipops encapsulates the delightful experience of biting into a chocolate-coated treat. The design features a combination of vibrant colors, shiny surfaces, and bold typography, creating a friendly and nostalgic aesthetic reminiscent of a Ferris wheel ride of taste.
The unique properties of Kellipops lie in its use of typography inspired by the '60s, bold and contrasting colors reminiscent of pop-art, and a central product display with a transparent section for visibility inside the bag. The background forms a pattern related to a '60s polka dot array, adding a touch of retro charm to the design.
Realized using plastic doypacks, the Kellipops packaging design comes in small dimensions of Width 110 mm x Depth 40 mm x Height 150 mm, making it convenient and visually appealing for consumers.
Antonia Skaraki, along with Creative Director Antonia Skaraki and Art Director Andreas Deskas, brought the Kellipops packaging design to life in Athens, with the project commencing in October 2021 and concluding in December 2021. The design made its debut in local stores, markets, and kiosks in Greece in late January 2022, captivating consumers with its irresistible charm.
With Kellipops, Antonia Skaraki has created a packaging design that embodies indulgence, desire, and the irresistible allure of chocolate. The design's playful and vibrant aesthetic, combined with its innovative use of materials and visual elements, sets it apart as a standout rebranding and packaging design in the snack industry.
