Designer Mateus Matos Montenegro unveils the Logotype SETMA, a harmonious representation of Jijoca de Jericoacoara's natural wonders, created to resonate with the city's environment and provide a transcendent experience for its visitors.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mateus Matos Montenegro, the founder of Montenegro Design in Brazil, has unveiled the Logotype SETMA, a visual representation of the Municipal Tourism and Environment Secretariat of Jijoca de Jericoacoara. The logotype showcases the five colorful natural elements that unify and represent the city, including the Blue Lagoon, the Serrote, the Pierced Stone, the Sea, and the iconic Sunset on the Dunes. Montenegro unified these elements using harmonious sine wave curves, symbolizing the frequency, balance, and equilibrium between the city's natural beauty and the transcendent experience it provides.
The Logotype SETMA appropriates the natural wonders of the municipality, using harmonious curved sine-wave elements to represent the frequency, balance, harmony, and equilibrium between all the natural beauty and the transcendent experience it provides. This unique approach sets it apart from other designs, as it aims to be an extremely expressive brand, yet light and harmonious, serving as a visual representation of paradise.
Realized through the unification of the main city elements using the harmony that their own environment provides, the logotype features the five colorful natural elements transformed into icons and unified using harmonious sine wave curves, implying they are all part of one environment. The project, which began in January 2018 and concluded in March 2018, aimed to represent the environmental wonders of Jijoca de Jericoacoara and the transcendent feeling of its users.
