Argan Life Skincare Packaging Design by Angela Spindler

Angela Spindler's innovative sustainable packaging design for Argan Life skincare products has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2023. Inspired by the geometric tile patterns of Morocco, the packaging features a strong graphic pattern and a soft color palette reminiscent of the vibrant Moroccan buildings. The challenge of creating a single-size packaging for a mixed range of hair and skincare products was met with clever internal cardboard engineering, allowing different-sized products to be supported inside the single-size tube.

The cardboard tubes were printed offset with two spot colors plus black, spot UV gloss, and an allover aqueous satin varnish. The lid labels were printed in two colors on a self-adhesive stock. This innovative design not only showcases outstanding technical characteristics but also introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.

Angela Spindler, the creative director behind the design, hails from Sydney, Australia, and successfully overcame the challenge of creating cost-effective variable inserts for the packaging. The project took three months in the design phase and two months in production, with the final production taking place in China.

For her exceptional work in developing sustainable and innovative packaging, Angela Spindler's Argan Life skincare packaging design has been recognized with the Silver A' Design Award, highlighting her remarkable level of excellence and innovation in the field of packaging design.
