Xinjiang Restaurant "Lovely Xinjiang" Redefines Cultural Integration

Renowned designer Jie Yang has unveiled "Lovely Xinjiang," the largest Xinjiang restaurant in China, a breathtaking fusion of cultural elements and design innovation. Inspired by the traditional craft of grinding bricks and butt joints of local buildings, the restaurant's interior is a visual masterpiece, showcasing the diverse cultural heritage of Xinjiang.

The project, covering a total area of 17,000 square meters and featuring 56 private rooms and 6 performance halls, is a testament to the harmonious coexistence of different nationalities. Each private room is themed to express the unique characteristics of various cultures, creating an immersive experience for visitors.

Utilizing the form of Uighur brick grinding butt joint technology, the design team has seamlessly integrated various elements of Xinjiang to represent multiculturalism and the inclusive mentality of the region. The project's realization involved on-site processing and factory production, ensuring the authenticity and integrity of the cultural representation.

"Lovely Xinjiang" stands as a symbol of Xinjiang's openness to the world, reconnecting diverse cultures through the new Silk Road. The project, which commenced in February 2017 and was completed in June 2018, officially opened its doors in January 2019, captivating visitors with its unparalleled cultural narrative.

This remarkable design has been recognized with the prestigious A' Design Award in 2020, showcasing its innovative and practical approach to cultural representation. Jie Yang and his team have set a new standard for cultural integration, earning accolades for their outstanding contribution to the design industry.
