Fluid Space: Redefining Modern Sales Center Design

Kris Lin's Fluid Space project in Hefei City, China, reimagines the traditional sales center with its unique inspiration from the "Fei river form." The integration of geometric art elements and interior functions creates a space that is both orderly and artistic, offering a fresh perspective on modern design.

The sensibility and freedom of the curve are gradually used in the space, offering a glimpse into a bright future. The integration of streamline shapes creates a dynamic and free-flowing environment, abandoning traditional partition layouts in favor of a modern, spatial aesthetic.

Every aspect of the design reflects a contemporary art atmosphere, with sharp lines and a combination of stone and glass creating a visually stunning space. High-quality materials such as solid wood, leather, and stone are used to convey an elegant and noble quality, while the bar area follows the dynamic changes of the wooden ocean, exuding delicate design aesthetics.

Fluid Space spans 2376 square meters and is a testament to the fusion of functional and visual flow, soft and smooth lines, and the overall concept of waves. The project was brought to life by Kris Lin and Jiayu Yang, offering a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise.

In the design of the interior space, Kris Lin combines soft and smooth lines to create a streamlined space with a strong sense of rhythm and beauty. The winding and flexible rotating staircase gives the space a futuristic feel, visually presenting a vast continuity and enhancing the overall style of the space.

The project, which started in January 2019 and concluded in October 2019, was exhibited in Hefei in October 2019, showcasing its innovative design and meticulous attention to detail.

Fluid Space is the recipient of the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This award recognizes the exceptional and highly innovative design that showcases unmatched professionalism, genius, and contributes to societal wellbeing. Kris Lin's work continues to advance the boundaries of art, science, design, and technology, making the world a better place.
