Yui Design's Art and Chanson Overbrimming

Yui Design Studio presents "Art and Chanson Overbrimming," a residential design project by Hung Yu Chen. The design reimagines living space by incorporating the client's personal collection and furniture, creating a modern and elegant ambiance. The project was completed in February 2020 in Xindian, New Taipei City, Taiwan.

Yui Design carefully measured the space, reorganized the flow line, and utilized wood look tiles, sintered stones, and metal plates with low chroma colors to establish a contemporary and sophisticated space. The design also incorporates elements of a gallery, creating a romantic tone for the client's collection by displaying crystal pieces and a piano.

One of the unique features of this design is the elimination of unnecessary spaces to create a transparent ambiance, tailored to the client's living habits. The use of different materials seamlessly connects various domains, such as utilizing sintered stones for the living room walls and introducing rural mountain scenery into the private area.

The space is realized using wood look tiles, sintered stones, metal plates, and natural materials, creating a new ambiance with the lines of a piano and delicate crystal illumination. The TV wall is constructed with metal materials, extending to the ceiling through the beams, enhancing the visual abundance of the space.

Yui Design's "Art and Chanson Overbrimming" received the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design, recognizing its outstanding creativity and ingenious design that authentically integrates experience and resourcefulness.
