Fudesign's Award-Winning Organic Rice Packaging Design

Fudesign's latest project, the packaging design for organic rice from Wuchang, China, has been recognized with the Silver A' Design Award in 2022. The design draws inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes of the rice fields in Heilongjiang Province and the unique farming practices of the region.

The packaging features a two-layer structure, combining a vacuum-packed clear vinyl bag to maintain freshness with a polyvinyl chloride bag adorned with design elements and handles. The design incorporates a transparent part for easy rice inspection and is printed in gold to reflect the brilliance of the rice fields during harvest.

The project, led by Creative Director Kazuo Fukushima and his team, captures the essence of organic farming and the natural beauty of the Wuchang rice fields. The design not only reflects the stunning visual appeal of the landscape but also serves as a testament to the pesticide-free, organic cultivation of the rice.
