ARBO design Unveils Ergo Spa: A Groundbreaking Beauty Care Product Line

ARBO design is proud to introduce Ergo Spa, a cutting-edge beauty care product line that is set to revolutionize the skincare industry. Ergo Spa is expertly designed to provide skincare clinician solutions for use at home or while traveling, catering to the modern woman's need for beauty and self-care, no matter where life takes her.

The Ergo Spa product line is inspired by the desire to nurture and awaken the skin's potential for optimal beauty and health. It is ergonomically designed to make the skincare routine a pleasure and soothing experience, providing users with a luxurious and convenient way to care for their skin.

What sets Ergo Spa apart is its utilization of emerging skincare technologies, allowing users to administer leading-edge skincare at home without the need for expensive and time-consuming clinic visits. The product line includes three different products, all using the same product base: Lift-Up light, Ion Booster, and Brush Cleanser, each offering unique benefits for the skin.

The manufacturing process of Ergo Spa involves advanced technologies such as metal stamping, plastic injection, and epoxy painting. The materials used include silicone rubber, carbon steel, aluminum, magnets, stainless steel, chrome, titanium, ABS plastic, and LEDs, ensuring a high-quality and durable end product.

With dimensions of 85mm in width, 60mm in depth, and 201mm in height, each product in the Ergo Spa line weighs around 178g. The design team, led by Valkiria Pedri Fialkowski and Daniel Kröker, has meticulously crafted Ergo Spa to provide users with a convenient and effective skincare solution.

Designed to address the challenges of aging skin, Ergo Spa's Lift Up product offers dual firming and lifting care, utilizing high-frequency thermal therapy, red LEDs, and microcurrents to tighten and lift the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and stimulate collagen and elastin production for firmer and younger-looking skin.

The project, which began in September 2020 in Brazil and China, was completed in February 2021. The technical developments were carried out in China, with the production set to take place in the same location.

ARBO design's approach to the Ergo Spa project involved extensive research, including desk field studies, focus groups, consumer insights, and trend mappings. The team's objective was to bring innovation and differentiation to the beauty care market, employing a consumer-centric design approach to solve problems and create a truly unique product.

Despite the challenges of managing an interdisciplinary project involving various stakeholders, including designers, engineers, users, beauticians, and doctors, the team successfully leveraged the design process to create meaningful innovation, adding significant value to the product.
