Sunghoon Kim, a prominent graphic designer, has unveiled 87MM Ilsang, a dedicated font designed for 87MM, a leading Korean fashion brand. The font is a celebration of the brand's 10th anniversary and aims to embody the essence of 87MM's daily culture through sense and wit.

87MM Ilsang features two variations, Regular and Oblique, and encompasses a total of 2,782 Hangeul letters, 214 Latin alphabet letters, and 838 symbols, offering a wide range of expressive possibilities.

As a special gesture, the font is available for free download, allowing enthusiasts of 87MM to incorporate it into their creative projects.

Inspired by the daily value pursued by 87MM, 87MM Ilsang is a testament to Sunghoon Kim's innovative approach to font design. By infusing the numbers 8 and 7 as the ratio and angle of the font, the design embodies a unique visual identity that sets it apart from traditional fonts.

Moreover, the introduction of the Oblique font in Korean represents a pioneering effort in the Korean design landscape, showcasing Sunghoon Kim's commitment to pushing the boundaries of typographic expression.

Kim Sunghoon, the creative director, and Ku Moa, the font designer, were instrumental in bringing 87MM Ilsang to life, with the project commencing in Seoul, South Korea, in March 2021 and culminating in January 2022.
