Ice Cream Packages Inspired by Famous British Icons and Characters

Mohsen Koofiani's "Big N Ben" ice cream packaging design series draws inspiration from England's famous icons and characters, resulting in a simple yet dynamic character design. The designs uniquely represent the brand's name and its country, with direct references to the product type and contents. The use of old design patterns, vibrant colors, and well-known characters with individual stories sets this series apart.

Realized using Illustrator software, the packaging features a harmonious design structure that maximizes visibility with minimal elements. The PP containers are printed using the IML method, offering tamper-evident, microwave, and freezer capabilities, with a capacity of 170 ml and dimensions of 80mm (mouth) and 62mm (depth).

The captivating colors and characters in the packaging embody the brand's identity, appealing to all age groups with their simplicity and passionate coloring. The project, initiated in November 2022, has successfully integrated brand identity into the design, creating visually appealing packaging with compelling storytelling elements.

Mohsen Koofiani, an accomplished designer, illustrator, and character designer from Shiraz, Iran, has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2024 for the Big N Ben ice cream packaging design. This award acknowledges the practicality, innovation, and professional excellence of the design, reflecting industry best practices and technical prowess.
