The Multiverse: Abstract Concept for Salon de TE Hall
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has unveiled a groundbreaking design for the Salon de TE hall at the Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair. Titled "The Multiverse," this abstract concept aims to evoke a sense of new discovery for visitors before they explore various watch booths.
The design features a 745m2 introductory passageway with a 5m high transparent LED waterfall, themed installations, and a multi-functional space with a main stage. The project, realized using lightweight reusable aluminum systems and interactive audio-visual equipment, was completed within a 3-month timeframe.
With the aim to stimulate the imagination of visitors, the design team drew inspiration from the subconscious journey of an artisan watchmaker's mind, creating a series of visceral ambient installations to reflect the inner focused process of creating a master timepiece.
