Fenced Traveler: A New Approach to Pet Outing Bags

Bomu Xue introduces Fenced Traveler, a groundbreaking pet outing bag concept designed to enhance the outdoor experience for both pets and their owners. This innovative design aims to redefine traditional pet outing bags, fostering increased interaction and a safer, more liberating experience for small pets during outdoor entertainment activities.

With dimensions of 3500mm in width, 2200mm in depth, and 3600mm in height, Fenced Traveler is a unique solution that allows pet owners to enjoy the natural environment with their small pets, particularly rodents, while ensuring safety and freedom during outdoor activities. The bag is crafted using a Knapsack production cloth forming technique, with the main materials being plastic and cloth.

When using Fenced Traveler, pet owners can simply place their pets inside the bag and, upon reaching their desired outdoor location, create a closed outdoor space through the built-in structure. This allows pets to be released for entertainment interaction, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for both pets and owners.

The project, initiated in March 2021 at the LAFA Communal Facility Design Studio and completed in February 2022 at the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Industrial Design in LAFA, addresses the challenges faced by small pets during outdoor activities. These challenges include the difficulty of managing pets, the risk of injuries from traction ropes, and the potential for attacks by other animals.

Fenced Traveler has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in the Pet Care, Toys, Supplies, and Products for Animals Design category in 2022. This award acknowledges the design's practicality, innovation, and fulfillment of professional and industrial requirements, contributing to a better world through its competent technical characteristics and positive impact on outdoor pet experiences.
