Introducing the Lavazza Inovy Mini, a modern and compact coffee machine designed for small offices and hotel rooms, offering a professional Italian coffee experience in a small package.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Lavazza introduces the Inovy Mini, a compact coffee machine designed by Florian Seidl, offering a professional Italian coffee experience in a small package. The machine is characterized by its modern design, ultra-small dimensions, and professional Italian execution. It features a simple user interface with prominent touchpoints emphasized by metal accents.
The Inovy Mini is the smallest machine in Lavazza's new professional range, primarily intended for small offices and hotel rooms. It boasts a single spout and a professional color scheme, maintaining the brand's Italian identity. Additionally, the product is also known as Classy Mini in some markets, while the Elogy Mini is a special version designed for home use, offering the option for double espresso preparation.
Constructed with a combination of plastic, metal, and silicone rubber, the Inovy Mini is designed for ease of use and maintenance. It features a capsule-based operation, with backlit buttons for espresso and lungo selections. The machine's start-up time is a swift 28 seconds, and its transparent water tank and dishwasher-safe removable parts ensure convenient upkeep.
Designed in Turin, Italy, the Inovy Mini underwent an 18-month development process, involving conceptual and formal research, 3D modeling, physical mock-ups, and prototyping. Despite the tight timeframe, the design team successfully stayed true to Lavazza's established form language, ensuring a seamless integration with the brand's existing product lineup.
Florian Seidl, the designer behind the Inovy Mini, is an Austrian designer with extensive professional experience. Currently serving as Lavazza's design manager at the Innovation Center in Turin, Seidl's work reflects a strong sense of brand identity and a holistic approach to product design.
