Jin Zhang introduces the Jinlongquan beer packaging design, drawing inspiration from the Chinese dragon sculpture at the former Jinlongquan distillery in 1978. The design incorporates rich illustrations, including hops, wheat, wooden wine barrels, and water sources, reflecting the brand's heritage and the essence of the beer industry. The redesign of the logo font and brand red enhances brand recognition.
The bottle, made of iron, measures 80*250mm (jar). The 1L large tank provides an ample display area for the black-and-white illustrations, conveying the spiritual symbol of the brand and the product attributes of beer. The combination of red and gold highlights the brand and product information, creating a rich and hierarchical packaging design scheme.
The project was launched in Hubei, China, in January 2022 and completed in Wuhan, China, in February. It is set to be listed and sold in China in April. The design aims to convey the long history of the Jinlongquan brand and the high quality of the product.
Jinlongquan beer, with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons, is one of the largest beer brewing bases in Central China. The draft beer is a medium and high-end product brewed with high-quality raw materials, offering a fresher and mellower taste.
Jinlongquan beer's unique packaging design aims to improve the brand image, conveying the brand's long history and product quality. The rich illustrations and the inclusion of the Chinese dragon sculpture symbolize the brand's heritage, while the redesign of the logo font and brand red enhance brand recognition.
