Ying Hua Qing Su: A Captivating Ode to Wuhan's Cherry Blossoms

Jin Zhang presents the Ying Hua Qing Su gift box, a stunning packaging design inspired by the enchanting scenery of cherry blossoms in Wuhan. This unique creation captures the essence of the city's charm and romantic nostalgia, blending local landmarks, retro elements, and the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms.

The front of the gift box features cherry blossoms intertwined with Wuhan's iconic buildings, swallows carrying love letters, and 1990s characters, evoking the vibrancy of spring and the city's distinctive allure. The inner box, ingeniously foldable into a cherry blossom shape, complements the design, creating an aesthetic reminiscent of "Cherry Blossom falling on the lake."

Measuring 396mm * 336mm * 55mm, the gift box is crafted from coated paper with gray board and adorned with hot Blue Gold accents. Notably, the inner box can be folded without the use of glue or nails, offering an environmentally friendly and versatile decorative piece for consumers.

The Ying Hua Qing Su gift box is set to debut in late March in Wuhan, China, marking the culmination of a design journey that commenced in February 2021. Jin Zhang's meticulous research and exploration of Wuhan's cherry blossom sites have culminated in a design that encapsulates the city's emotional resonance and cultural significance.

Recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award, the Ying Hua Qing Su gift box stands as a testament to Jin Zhang's commitment to creating designs that convey profound emotions and resonate with individuals on a deep level.
