Premium Vending Machine Redefines User Experience and Sustainability

Florian Seidl's Klix Advanta is a cutting-edge vending machine that redefines the traditional concept of vending. The machine, designed in Turin, Italy, over a three-year period, offers a modern user experience and contemporary design, setting new high standards for quality breaks from a multi-drink system. The Advanta is expertly designed to deliver a premium taste experience while incorporating innovative technology and sustainable materials.

Advanta is designed to redefine the vending experience, delivering drinks without cross-contamination through patented in-cup technology. The machine features the innovative Eco Cup, the first paper cup without polyethylene lining, made with sustainably sourced paper and a unique water-based barrier. The main cabinet is made from folded sheet metal, creating a sensual volume and a clearly defined central island for user interaction. The machine also offers a wide drinks range to suit every taste and can be operated on free-vend, as well as offering three different payment options: cashless, contactless, and coin payment.

Florian Seidl, the designer behind Klix Advanta, is an Austrian designer with a strong track record in the industry. Currently working as Lavazza's design manager at the Innovation Center in Turin, Seidl has a wealth of professional experience and a strong feeling for brand identity and the bigger picture beyond the project as a mere product. The Klix Advanta vending machine has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Office and Business Appliances Design category in 2024, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in design.
